Gloria's transition from the corporate to the entrepreneurial world of pet care was sparked by a conversation with Amy Addington, whose vision for a compassionate, women-led company in the pet industry resonated deeply with her. Inspired by the company's ethos and Amy's infectious energy, Gloria knew Woofie's, a venture started by visionary women, was her calling.

Gloria's world revolves around her husband of 24 years, Abel, and their two daughters, Emma (a 3rd year at Cal Poly) and Celeste (a senior in high school). The family's shared love for pets is collectively invested in Shaina, a 16-year-old Maltese who is a constant source of joy. Aside from professional endeavors, Gloria indulges in reading and exploring new places. These hobbies enrich her life with continuous learning and discovery.
