Pet Sitters/Dog Walkers:
Pet Sitters/Dog Walkers care for clients’ pets by providing them with exercise and occasional meals. This position offers a variety of possible schedule options; employees can choose which type of visit they would be interested in:
- -Morning, midday, evening, and weekend walks/visits
- -Pet sitting and walks for regular workday or out-of-town clients
- -Overnight 7pm to 7am Pet sitting in the client’s home; provide tender, loving care throughout the night, ensuring pets are comfortable, safe, and secure
- -Pet sitting in your own home via our Bed & Biscuit program
Responsibilities:
- -Visits with dogs, cats, birds, fish, etc.
- -Supply exercise to the pet through walking, backyard play, and indoor play as needed
- -Feed and provide fresh water when needed
- -Give medications when necessary
- -Offer friendly and reliable services
- -Communicate with clients via our app to share information from the day’s visit
- -Communicate with back-office team members as necessary
Qualifications:
- -Applicants should be capable of walking, exercising, and handling the pet
- -Experience with pets is preferred but not required, as training is provided
- -Ability to pass a background check
- -Customer service experience is a plus
- -This job operates in clients’ homes and outdoors; necessary equipment includes a reliable vehicle and a smartphone
Professional Pet Groomers:
Professional Pet Groomers with 2+ years of pet grooming experience perform grooming services by receiving grooming instructions; resolving pet owner concerns; and maintaining supplies, van, and grooming workspaces.
Responsibilities:
- -Assess pet condition and obtain service requests by interviewing pet owners and inspecting pet
- -Groom pets by bathing, brushing, combing, paw pad trimming, de-shedding, de-matting, drying, clipping/filing nails, cleaning ears, and deodorizing according to breed or mixed breed specifications and in accordance with Woofie’s standards
- -Apply special precautions for puppies, aged, and disabled pets and ease pet anxieties and reduce behavioral issues by utilizing available resources and techniques
- -Protect pets and self by adhering to safety policies and following procedures in the event of a pet medical emergency
- -Maintain pet records by documenting services and updating information
- -Clean, sanitize, and follow the manufacturer's instructions for all equipment while conserving the use of replenishable supplies by adhering to portion or dilution level guidelines
- -Resolve customer issues by communicating directly with clients and promptly following up with the back-office team
- -Complete clerical, supply, cleaning, and any other tasks as assigned
- -Other duties as called upon
Qualifications:
- -Must have a valid driver’s license
- -Excellent customer service experience?is a must
- -Must be able to work flexible hours including some weekends
- -Must be reliable and punctual
Grooming Technicians:
Grooming Technicians with 6+ months of pet grooming experience prepare and bathe dogs of all shapes and sizes; gently dries and brushes fur; performs basic grooming such as nail trimming/Dremel-ing and ear cleaning; ensures a clean and organized area for a pristine salon.
