Meet Our Dedicated Pet Care Team

Our location is led by Heather McLeod and Leanne Stapf. Leanne offers years of business experience as a Business Analyst in the IT department, a Director of Operations, a VP of Operations, a COO, and a franchise owner of The Cleaning Authority in Harrisburg, PA. Most recently, she took on the role of Executive VP of Indoor Brands, working closely with the Brand Presidents of The Cleaning Authority, Junkluggers, and Homewatch CareGivers. After watching Woofie’s expand and blossom over the years, she saw the perfect opportunity to combine her business skills with her love for animals and became a franchise owner. 

Heather also started at The Cleaning Authority as the Director of Marketing. It was here where Leanne and Heather grew to work so well together! Soon after joining The Cleaning Authority in 2015, Heather was promoted to VP of Marketing during the launch of Authority Brands. She has since moved up from the Chief Marketing Officer to the Chief Growth Officer, where she excels in helping franchisees grow locally. 

Brit is another key player at Woofie's of Columbia, offering over a decade of experience in operations and marketing with a strong focus on the pet industry (the grooming segment, specifically). She has been the Director of Operations in Ashburn since earlier this year. We have no doubt she will seamlessly transfer her previous experience running the daily operations of the corporate location to the Columbia location.  

Providing Woofie’s team members with career growth opportunities is a big part of our culture. Another key ingredient of our culture is a love for our community and fur babies. When at home, Leanne is the proud pet parent of Harley (a Bichon, Shih Tzu, and Terrier mix), and Heather is the proud pet parent of Willow (a 13-year-old Australian Cattle Dog) and Hank (a 3-year-old cat). Last but not least, Brit is the proud pet parent of Jerry (Irish Wolfhound mix) and two littermate cats, Javi and Stormy.
