Like most people who started their own business in the pet industry, we were inspired by our dogs. Amy & her husband are the proud parents of Marshall (border collie), Toby (German Shepherd/Chow mix) and Dinah (American Fox Hound rescued from Friends of Homeless Animals – FOHA). Leslie and her husband are the proud parents of Cody (Chocolate Lab) and Charlie (English Bulldog).

Being pet owners all our lives, we were both frequently called upon by friends, neighbors, business associates and family members to care for their pets while they were out of town. We started to get so busy that we decided to leave the corporate world and devote ourselves full-time to doing what we love to do – caring for animals. We established woofie’s pet sitting & dog walking service in Ashburn in September of 2004. Amy has 12+ years experience in Marketing & Sales for telecom and high tech companies in VA and San Francisco. Leslie has 15+ years experience in Healthcare. With our business backgrounds and innate love of animals, we feel we are uniquely qualified to cater to the specific needs of our clients.

Since 2004, we have expanded our pet sitting and dog walking services to include Pet Taxi, Overnight Care and Bed & Biscuit services. We have hundreds of satisfied clients in Ashburn and Lansdowne and we have a fantastic team of mature, responsible pet sitters on board. We love what we do and we’re proud of the business we have built.
